Mars Classroom-New Theory Of Everything (2011)

Released in 2011, Mars Classroom is one of Guided By Voices leader Robert Pollard's many side projects, and perhaps his best. This 2011 album ranks up there with the best records Pollard has ever released, and that's saying something! There is simply not a bad track to be found, it ranges from full on power trio assaults such as "New Theory Of Everything" & "Man Wine Power!", to bitch ballads such as "Lumps" and "Wish You Were Young." This album kind of came and went, without much fanfare, that's sad, because it is simply one of the best albums I have heard in ages! ESSENTIAL!-David Furgess (8-18-12.)
