Connecticut Tigers Hit 50,000 Mark In 2012 Attendance (8-30-12)

The Connecticut Tigers passed the 50,000 mark in attendance on Thursday night. The Tigers attendance now stands at 50,118. The Tigers will surely pass their 2010 attendance of 50,511 Friday night, with the final fireworks night at Dodd Stadium. The Tigers will probably not reach their 2011 attendance of 62,317, but with a good weekend showing could come close! Come on fans , you have all winter to watch TV and play with your cell phones!

The Connecticut Tigers (30-37) begin their final homestand tonight against Stedler Division leader, and Houston Astros affiliate the Tri-City Valley Cats at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT. The Tigers will face Tri-City Wednesday & Thursday, then entertain Boston Red Sox affiliate the Lowell Spinners over the weekend.
